System support engineer

Venipak is looking for service driven talent to join our team as System support engineer. Within the role You will be responsible for system/service support across the whole Venipak Group.

• Follow the SLA for issues with respect to the severity.
• To take ownership of customer issues reported and see problems through to resolution.
• Research, diagnose, troubleshoot and identify solutions to resolve customer issues reported.
• Identify performance bottlenecks, software defects, identify solutions to these problems.
• Provide prompt and accurate feedback to customers.
• Ensure proper recording and closure of all issues, prepare the timely resolution reports.
• Document knowledge in the form of knowledge base tech notes and articles.
• Be a role model for your colleagues, enjoy challenges in everyday work.

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in related field.
• At least 2 years of experience working within system support area and 5 years within PHP development.
• Deep knowledge of MySQL and experience with PostgreSQL (as an advantage).
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, experience with CI&CD deployment, Docker.
• Have experience working with cross-functional and customer facing teams.
• Flexibility to adopt to fast changing business environment.
• Fluency in Lithuanian and English languages (spoken and written).
• Great communication and time management skills.
• Sense of ownership.
