Sanita Bērziņa has become the Country manager of the international parcel delivery company Venipak Latvija. She has ten years of experience in company management, developing an e-commerce platform within Maxima Latvija, as well as launching and managing the online store Barbora.
Sanita Bērziņa has joined Venipak, one of the fastest growing companies, to manage its Latvian subsidiary in order to continue developing e-commerce platform opportunities, which is one of the company’s strategic goals. “For the past ten years, my professional career has been closely linked to the development of e-commerce projects, which has involved both growth and challenges. After such a long period of time, I started exploring new directions for my development, which is why I believe the opportunity to join the Venipak team is a logical outcome,” explains S. Bērziņa.
The new Country manager points out, when starting a new job, it is first important to get familiar with all the company’s processes and available data. “The first priorities are to get to know the team and learn about the different processes and systems, as well as the data, in order to feel comfortable and confident in my new role. Venipak is approaching the busiest season of the year, when thousands of parcels have to be delivered to customers, which is why I want to be part of the team to use my knowledge not only to help in big projects, but also in everyday life,” explains S. Bērziņa, adding that one of the goals is to increase Venipak’s recognition in Latvia in order to ensure market leadership, “there are many challenges at the moment, which is why we need examine the company’s operations in order to successfully develop it both locally and internationally.”
Venipak’s current long-term vision is to radically transform the structure of the company’s services, where 10% of revenue will come from courier services and 90% will come from wholesale e-commerce. This is why, this September, Sabina Bačiulienė, who has extensive experience in e-commerce, joined Venipak’s management team as the company’s Global Chief Business Development Officer. This is a completely new role, directly linked to Venipak’s active expansion in Europe from a courier service to a sales company.
Until December 2022, S. Bērziņa was a Member of the Board of SIA Patrika. The company owns the online store Barbora, which supplies goods from the retailer Maxima Latvija.
