What we expect you to do as a System Support Engineer:
- To take ownership of customer issues reported and see problems through to resolution.
- Research, diagnose, troubleshoot and identify solutions to resolve customer issues reported.
- Identify performance bottlenecks, shipment system software defects, identify solutions to these problems.
- Advise clients on system integration issues.
- Provide prompt and accurate feedback to customers.
- Ensure proper recording and closure of all issues, prepare the timely resolution reports.
- Follow the SLA for issues with respect to the severity.
- Document knowledge in the form of knowledge base tech notes and articles.
Candidate requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in IT field.
- Experience working within system support area .
- Experience with MySQL, ability to read PHP, Javascript code.
- Understanding of code versioning tools, experience with Linux, Docker.
- Flexibility to adopt to fast changing business environment.
- Fluency in Lithuanian and English languages (spoken and written) .
- Great communication and time management skills.
- Sense of ownership.
