Parcel delivery company Venipak is expanding its parcel locker network across Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia through a new partnership with the open-access parcel locker network uDrop. Having so far operated 800 lockers in the Baltic States, Venipak will increase the total by about 30%—to more than 1,000 lockers—by the end of this year.
Through the cooperation with uDrop, the network will grow by around 20% in Lithuania, 38% in Latvia, and nearly 75% in Estonia by year-end.
“A convenient parcel pick-up location is one of our customers’ top expectations.
We want our lockers to be as close as possible to people’s daily routes—near their homes, workplaces, or favourite shopping centres.
Last year we were among the leaders in locker expansion and, with uDrop, we expect to make parcel collection even easier for our clients this year,” said Andrius Ladauskas, CEO of Venipak.
According to uDrop CEO Marius Blagnys, a shortage of locker infrastructure and limited parcel accessibility in remote areas were key factors behind creating a shared parcel locker network.
Venipak is now the third major logistics partner to join uDrop and expand its locker network across the Baltics.
“Our idea is simple – lockers should be open, accessible and convenient for everyone.
We are expanding our network and implementing a sharing-based model that makes better use of infrastructure and ensures smoother parcel flows, even during peak periods,” Blagnys said.
He added that this model allows logistics companies to focus on planning and executing smooth delivery operations, while entrusting locker infrastructure development and maintenance to the partner.
“As parcel volumes grow, shipments are often redirected from the selected locker to a more distant location or pick-up point.
This creates extra work for logistics companies and inconveniences customers.
By partnering with us, companies can get closer to every customer—both in cities and in rural areas.
For end-users, this means faster and more convenient parcel collection,” Blagnys emphasized.
Last year Venipak invested €1.5 million and recorded the largest increase in locker numbers in Lithuania, installing nearly half of all new lockers in the country.
In 2024, Venipak’s Baltic turnover rose by almost 10% to nearly €78 million, while revenue in Lithuania alone grew by a tenth to €50 million. The company handled around 9 million parcels in Lithuania, up almost 20% year-on-year.
By the end of October 2025, uDrop will have 280 open-access lockers across Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia.
The network continues to expand and plans to reach 1,500 lockers within the next two years, enabling each partner’s network—Venipak included—to grow rapidly alongside it.
