Looking at today’s trends in parcel delivery logistics, and taking into account the increase in parcel volumes during the Black Friday period, when compared to the same period in 2021, we anticipate that we will see a similar result for the Christmas period. With shipments up by around 34% across the three Baltic countries during Black Friday, our main challenge today is to be ready to handle a similar growth in shipments over the Christmas period, something that has already begun.
How have we prepared:
27% bigger team
We have increased the size of our team by 27%, thereby increasing our capacity to deliver parcels by the same percentage. We want to ensure that we can do our job on time and to a high standard in the event of a significant increase in the volume of parcel traffic.
Venipak Drive programme
The Venipak Drive programme contributes to the efficiency of the delivery process by allowing drivers who want to earn extra money, to also take care of the delivery of parcels.
Mobile parcel pick-up points
When all the self-service parcel terminals and parcel pickup points are full, we are ready to provide recipients with additional mobile pick-up points.
Parcel delivery in the evenings and on Saturdays
We allocate capacity to ensure that parcels reach their recipients as quickly as possible. They can receive them in the evenings after working hours, and if necessary (if we are unable to deliver by the end of the week), we are able to deliver parcels on Saturdays, subject to prior agreement with the recipients.
Extended storage and parcel processing capabilities
Over the past year, we have expanded our warehouse space by 7,000 square metres and invested €1.5 million in extending and upgrading our conveyors, which allows us to handle a larger volume of shipments.
Network of self-service parcel terminals
In 2022, we have expanded our network of self-service parcel terminals to 250 in Lithuania and 200 in Latvia, making it easier and more convenient for recipients to collect parcels.
Key dates
During the holidays, you can always check the opening hours of the parcel offices and the Venipak team working hours on our website: Venipak – For Business Customers. The table below shows the key dates for the last week before Christmas when parcels should be collected for the Christmas delivery.

Should any significant changes occur, we will inform you of them in a separate notice.
