Telia, a leading Estonian telecommunications company, has started a cooperation with Venipak, an international parcel delivery company. For Telia’s users and customers, this means a wider and more affordable range of delivery options than before.
Estonians are avid e-commerce users – a recent survey by Venipak shows that 94% of Estonians buy goods online. One of the most popular e-commerce articles over the years has been electronics.
Telia’s statistics also show that more and more people are buying technical equipment and electronics online and choosing parcel delivery for smaller items. The latter is preferred because of convenience, price, and speed. From now on, customers of Telia Estonia’s e-shop will have a wider choice of delivery options thanks to the cooperation with parcel delivery company Venipak.
According to Martten Kaldvee, Head of Sales of Venipak, the cooperation with Telia marks an important milestone as it is Estonia’s leading IT and telecom company. “Working with one of the leading international telecom companies gives us the confidence that our services are of high quality and that our customers trust us, even though we established our own network of parcel machines in Estonia only last year,” Kaldvee explained.
Laura Kuusik, Head of Store Sales Department at Telia, noted that the Venipak network of 160 machines, which is expanding continually, will further expand the opportunities for Telia customers to order goods from their nearest parcel machine. “We see that our customers appreciate the fast and convenient delivery service after shopping online, and we believe that Venipak’s experience and range of parcel machines will help us to offer our customers an even better delivery experience,” said Kuusik.
Cutting-edge technology at a reasonable price
Kuusik pointed out that one of the strengths of Venipak’s parcel machines is the contactless pick-up of shipments by scanning a QR code. “As a technology company, we value innovative solutions that differentiate Venipak in the market today,” Kuusik explained.
In addition, Venipak offers Telia’s users the best prices on the market and very fast delivery. “For Telia customers, shipping costs one euro between 4th and 8th of April. During this period, it is also possible to purchase selected products from Telia at a particularly good price, as Telia is running its annual spring sales campaign. In Estonia, we deliver to vending machines within 24 hours if the parcel has been placed in the machine before emptying time,” Kaldvee noted.
