Venipak is strengthening its position in Vilnius, Lithuania, where a new, modern logistics terminal for the company is being developed in Liepkalnis Logistics Park. It will become Venipak’s largest terminal and is expected to consolidate the company’s operations currently spread across three different locations in Vilnius.
The total investment in the land plot, building construction, operational setup and a modern conveyor system amounts to €16 million. The project is being implemented by logistics real estate developer Sirin Development, with which Venipak has signed a long-term lease agreement. Operations at the new terminal in Vilnius, Lithuania, are planned to begin in the first half of 2027.
Venipak CEO Andrius Ladauskas says the new terminal marks an important qualitative leap in the company’s infrastructure development.
“The Vilnius region is one of the key hubs of our operations in Lithuania, so our goal is to ensure the most efficient infrastructure possible here. Moving into a single terminal tailored specifically to our business needs will not only significantly increase parcel handling capacity, but also optimise internal processes, allowing customers in the Vilnius region to receive their parcels even faster. This will be a modern terminal designed around the specifics of our business, with a strong focus not only on efficiency but also on better working conditions for our employees,” says A. Ladauskas.

The 13,500 sq. m terminal will be located at 1 Pripetės Street in Vilnius, Lithuania, in Liepkalnis Logistics Park. It will feature 24 gates for trucks and around 70 gates for vans. The terminal will also be equipped with a modern parcel sorting conveyor capable of processing around 5,000–6,000 parcels per hour.
A project tailored to business needs
“We are developing the project under a built-to-suit model, which allows us, as developers, to adapt the building’s technical solutions to the client’s specific automation and flow management needs. Our aim is to create infrastructure that will enable Venipak to consolidate its Vilnius operations in one centre and streamline its processes as much as possible,” says Laurynas Kuzavas, CEO of Sirin Development.

According to him, all facilities developed by the company are rated A++ for energy efficiency and are equipped with sustainable engineering solutions that ensure some of the lowest energy consumption levels on the market. In addition, integrated electric vehicle charging infrastructure and full technical readiness for robotics and artificial intelligence solutions will help ensure the terminal’s long-term competitiveness.
“Liepkalnis is one of the most sought-after logistics locations in Vilnius, Lithuania. Its modern infrastructure and strategic connection to major roads make it possible not only to optimise logistics flows, but also to create significant added value for employees. In developing this project, we are placing strong emphasis on their wellbeing – convenient access to the city and a modern working environment are now critical factors in attracting and retaining talent. Venipak already operates in our logistics parks in Riga and Kaunas, and the client’s decision to expand in Vilnius is a significant recognition of our built-to-suit expertise and the value we create,” says L. Kuzavas.
Construction plans are moving forward
Construction is scheduled to begin in the second or third quarter of 2026, with the move to the new terminal in Vilnius planned for the end of the first quarter of 2027. The facility will be able to accommodate 150–200 employees under one roof.
Last year, Venipak also opened a new 11,000 sq. m terminal in Kaunas, Lithuania, located in Kumpiai Logistics Park, also developed by Sirin Development. Until now, it has been the company’s largest terminal. Up to 50,000 parcels are sorted there each day, and every night around 100 trucks transport parcels from the terminal to destinations across the Baltic States and Poland.
Venipak currently operates a total of 25 logistics terminals, 12 of which are located across ten cities in Lithuania. Once the new terminal in Vilnius is built, the three logistics terminals currently operating in the Lithuanian capital will be consolidated, bringing the total number of Venipak terminals to 23.
SIRIN Development is the largest logistics real estate developer in the Baltic States, managing 11 modern logistics parks in Kaunas and Vilnius in Lithuania, Riga in Latvia, and Tallinn in Estonia.
