An additional delivery service where a package is delivered to the recipient’s door with additional manpower or supporting equipment. The service is mandatory when the shipment contains at least one package weighing more than 25 kg in Lithuania or more than 30 kg in Latvia and Estonia.

If the package meets the weight threshold but the 4 hands (carrying) service has not been ordered, the shipment is handed over to the recipient at the courier’s vehicle, without delivery to the door. If the recipient refuses to collect the shipment at the vehicle, the returned shipment is charged for both the initial delivery service and the return service.

Lithuania:

• An additional service fee is mandatory when the shipment contains at least one package weighing more than 25 kg but less than 50 kg.
• If the shipment contains at least one package weighing more than 50 kg but less than 75 kg, a double fee applies.
• If the shipment contains at least one package weighing more than 75 kg, the service is not provided; the shipment is delivered to the address and handed over at the courier’s vehicle.

Latvia and Estonia:

• An additional service fee is mandatory when the shipment contains at least one package weighing more than 30 kg but less than 60 kg.
• If the shipment contains at least one package weighing more than 60 kg but less than 90 kg, a double fee applies.
• If the shipment contains at least one package weighing more than 90 kg, the service is not provided; the shipment is delivered to the address and handed over at the courier’s vehicle.

 

The service is provided throughout Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia.

IMPORTANT: Venipak is not responsible for damage to the shipment during carrying if the Recipient/Sender helps carry the shipment together with the courier.
