An additional physical service where the courier performs loading actions during shipment delivery or collection – carries the shipment to the specified place inside the recipient’s premises and/or unloads packages from a pallet.

Important: Loading services are a separate service and are not related to the 4 hands (carrying) service. Loading services are not intended for delivering heavy packages to the recipient’s door – this is covered by the 4 hands (carrying) service.

Loading services include:

• Carrying the shipment into the recipient’s premises to one specified location;
• Unloading packages from a pallet (de-palletizing).

The service applies when the shipment meets at least one of the following conditions:

• The shipment is non-palletized and weighs more than 250 kg or has a volume greater than 1 m³;
• The shipment is non-palletized and consists of more than 20 packages;
• A pallet shipment needs to be unloaded – the packages must be removed from the pallet.

Restrictions

• Maximum total shipment weight – 250 kg

These limits are mandatory. Loading services are not provided for shipments that do not meet these conditions. For shipments that do not meet the set requirements, Venipak reserves the right to apply a handling fee.

When the service is not provided

Loading services are not provided if there are physical obstacles at the delivery location that make the service technically impossible or unsafe:

• No access to the unloading point;
• The lift is unsuitable or out of service;
• Passageways or corridors are too narrow;
• High thresholds or other physical restrictions.

In such cases, the shipment is handed over to the recipient at the nearest safe unloading point.

The service is provided throughout Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia.

Venipak is not responsible for damage to the shipment during carrying if the recipient or sender helps carry the shipment together with the courier.
